Awkward handling of text and pictures

I wanted to export pub files into word and import them into another program. However, there are pictures interspaced in the original pub file. This program leaves the pictures where thy were, but does not arrange the text in the same way it is in the original pub file. In placing the text it ignors where the pictures are and groups the words as if they did not exist. THis requires more work in getting the word doc in an acceptable form for inporting into another program.
FYI, on export it seems that each exported page is its own word doc section leaving more work in getting the doc ready to import into another program.
The program does not preserve the original format as it says in the ad in the App Store as far as i can see.
